~ Unpractical science: distance record Diet Coke and Mentos new video

I hope you know that Mentos Diet Coke and the combination is explosive, as was discovered some years ago. This phenomenon is exploited by Fritz Grobe and Stephen Voltz , who wanted to break the world distance record with ... fuel.

Initially, they took a 3-wheel, the Mark I, and set up the 108 bottles of Coke and Diet 648 Mentos. The distance was measured at 217 feet or 66.14 meters. In the second attempt, was told to do something different. They took the vehicle with 4 wheels, better aerodynamics and less weight, the Mark II, with 54 bottles of Coke and Diet 324 Mentos. So, they managed to travel 239 feet or 72.84 meters.
