The first "mule" of the
new BMW X5 caught by photographers. The car has been codenamed F15 and is expected to occur either late 2013 or early 2014. The new BMW X5 will be 150 pounds less than the current generation thereby consuming less fuel. It built on the modified 5 Series platform with a total weight not exceeding 1,815 kg, compared with 2,125 the current X5 xDrive30i.
As for the engines. Under the hood, except the six-cylinder and eight-cylinder engines, which will be improved by consuming less fuel and emitting less CO2, will be added and 2 four-cylinder engines, one petrol and one diesel performance 245 hp.
